What do you do in Band?

 

At first, you learn how to make a sound, read music, and take care of your instrument. Then once you know some basics then you start to perform concerts and take trips!

 

What is the cost involved?

 

• Instrument (you can rent or purchase)

• Supplies (mouthpiece/reeds, maintenance for the instrument)

What is the time commitment?

 

• We have students in the band that are VERY involved and take advantage of every opportunity of after-school activities and some students that participate in after-school activities about once a week.

​

• All students are expected to practice individually and submit recording assignments.
